TECHNICAL WRITER
3+ MONTH CONTRACT
CARROLLTON/ADDISON, TX
POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Technical Writer, who can assist with documenting policies & procedures around IT general controls, for our client in the Carrollton/Addison, TX area!
This is a 3+ month project to rebrand/wordsmith their current templates to be utilized throughout the organization! This is a collaborative and fun envionrment so we’re looking for someone who will thrive well with the team!
REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of experience as a technical writer
Proven experience in working with IT, developers and QA teams, handling original writing
for release notes, hotfixes, configuration guides, installation guides, etc.
Strong writing expertise.
Technology-oriented with the ability of easily understanding complex systems well enough to document.
Knowledge of networking, security, mobile or virtualization technologies.
Experienced in working with Knowledge Base and ticketing systems and processes.
MS Word super-user.
Writing skills that can accommodate information flowing from technical engineers and
higher-level business personnel.
Experience in medium forms as online books/help, SharePoint and advanced Word documentation.
