Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key member of the finance team.

This role will provide overall support in preparation of financial analysis, reporting and decks/presentations.

This role will also provide support to executive leadership.

Primary Responsibilities:

Hands on position as well as project management and process improvement participation.

Acquire a solid understanding of businesses to drive our culture, focus on the customer, grow top and bottom line, and improve every day.

Demonstrate leadership by successfully managing medium to large reporting and testing projects.

Gather data, apply rigorous analysis methods, and synthesize conclusions into recommendations.

Leverage data mining tools (e.g. SQL, Business Objects) and modeling techniques to solve business problems.

Mid-month and month-end close activities, working closely with the Accounting group to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements and commentary.

Work cross-functionally to manage P&L expectations.

Provide ad-hoc projects and analysis as requested.

Provide guidance and help develop junior associates.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

5-8 Years Finance/Accounting experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Master’s in Finance concentration.

Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is critical. Business Objects and SQL experience a big plus.

Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes.

Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement.

Ability to present business and technical results clearly, completely and accurately.

Strong foundation in the use of information systems and ability to learn/manipulate systems quickly.

Comfortable with large volumes of complex data.
