Advanced Desktop Support

6 Month Contract to Hire

Eden Prairie, MN

In this role you will be responsible for assisting to build, deploy, and maintain standardized Windows desktops in a large 4K+ system environment using enterprise management tools such as Active Directory and BigFix.

Work on a team responsible for standardization and management of Windows-based systems.

AutoCAD experience

Citrix Xen Client Experience

Scripting Experience

Maintain hardware standards to be deployed within the enterprise.

Assist with evaluation of new products as released from vendors.

Develop images and deployment process for installation, re-installation, and migration of Windows desktop.

Develop, implement, and maintain tools and process for delivery of approved software to desktop systems.

Generate scripts using VBScript, PowerShell, AutoIT, and WMI.

Identify solutions to problems or issues that cannot be resolved by Tier 1 & 2 staff.

Responsible for documenting processes, configuration, and operational procedures for assigned tasks.

Experience in Windows desktop products as well as experience in enterprise tools used for management of systems required

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft management products, including System Center

Configuration Manager and Microsoft Deployment is desired

Must also have scripting knowledge as well as application packaging experience.
