DEVOPS ENGINEER

PLANO, TX

$110K-$120K/YEAR; DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

POSITION:

ICS is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our growing eCommece client’s team in Plano, TX! This person will assist in an exciting time where the company is newly building and maintaining the CI/CD systems running all of the automated testing systems within the organization!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop solutions to allow developers to build, test, and deploy in AWS while controlling corporate costs

Develop CI pipelines from the ground up and automate deployments

Assist teams to implement test-driven development practices

Utilize tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, etc. to dynamically orchestrate software deployments for prod and sub-prod environments

Take ownership of automation improvements, problem resolution, and root cause analysis

Work with various team members to resolve outages or other issues

Enable systems with automated monitoring and alerting

Support and maintain compliance with security and privacy standards

REQUIREMENTS:

7+ years DevOps experience with both Windows and Linux systems

Proven experience in developing CI/CD pipelines and creating automated processes.

Hands-on experience with build management tools (Git, Jenkins a plus)

Hands-on scripting experience in Bash, Python, PowerShell etc.

Experience with Couchbase, Elastic Search, Graph or equivalent.

Experience with continuous integration and build management tools like Git and Jenkins

Familiar with micro services architecture.

Familiar with security concerns (server hardening, two factor authentication, SSL, VPN)

Knowledgeable in distributed systems and redundancy, high-availability and performance optimizations

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies

Must be a self-starter and possess very good analytical skills

Possesses ability to work in an agile environment with minimum guidance

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
