REMOTE POSITION!!!!!

You will be going onsite to clients but beyond that, you will be able to work remote.

Currently looking for a Tier 3 Engineer for a client of ours.

The client is an MSP so ideally looking for someone who has worked in a similar environment in the past as they really need someone who can get their hands on a WIDE VARIETY of technology and who enjoy interacting with a variery of business stakeholders on a regular basis.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

The Senior Consultant provides support to end users on a variety of issues.

Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.

Handles escalations as well as email and personnel requests for technical support, one or more facets of project delivery as well documents and supports client systems.

Will be called on to travel to client locations and provide engineering level support for client desktop, network, and server infrastructure. May be asked to work off hours to perform during onsite or remote customer change windows.

MAIN TASKS & DUTIES:

Troubleshoot and resolve client generated event (CGE)

Troubleshoot and resolve system generated event (SGE)

Document effort and steps taken to resolve client issues within the case management tool

Participate in On-call support rotation, with ability respond to callouts within guidance

Interact with customers and perform customer training

Guide troubleshooting over the telephone

Handle escalations with vendors and other third parties

Assist in training and mentor new hires to the group

Understand and abide by all internal and client security and operational policies

Build and deploy end user computer devices, network gear, and server infrastructure

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Associates Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

One or more of the following certifications:

Cisco Certified Network Associate

Microsoft Certified Professional

WatchGuard Certified Engineer

Note: Certifications and education may serve as a benchmark to verify knowledge but will not be a measure of demonstrated capability.

Windows Server 2008R2 through 2016

Active Directory, Exchange and other core Microsoft applications

VMWare and HyperV 2012 expertise

Switching & Routing including VLANs, ACLs and device hardening

Cloud solutions including Azure, AWS, and O365

Cisco Skills a plus

RMM Skills and Connectwise experience
