Key- This candidate needs to have a developer background with some automated testing experience. Candidate shoud have atleast 10 years of experience.We are a team of highly specialized Software Engineers called SDETs (Software Development Engineers in Test) that are building applications that are highly testable and very well unit tested using disciplines that leverage modern, highly effective CI/CD technologies.As part of the test-centric software engineering culture at Northwestern Mutual we are looking for a software engineer with serious JavaScript experience and a passion for writing testable code for the role of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET). You will work under the direction of a Lead SDET to deliver on our team’s projects.This role is that of a individual contributor that will be writing testable code, constructing valuable unit tests and implementing all of the team's CI/CD initiatives within JavaScript-based web applications. This individual will be performing hands-on development within an agile team that is building Node.js/React/Redux based web applications that integrate to our very own RESTful web services that are being built within our team using Java/Spring/Maven projects.
