SALESFORCE SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT

Carrollton, TX

Direct Hire: Base + Bonus

We are hiring a senior-level IT Solutions Architect with a strong background in Salesforce.

The Salesforce Solutions Architect will oversee the data architecture and design, development, administration and governance of the Salesforce/CRM solutions for our Client in Carrollton.

The Salesforce Solutions Architect will be responsible for developing the front-end roadmap for internal Salesforce solutions.

What You’ll Do:

Develop enterprise and technology architecture for all business projects and enterprise initiatives that require Salesforce/CRM solutions and underlying services, while ensuring optimal balance across out of box features and configurations, best practices, scalability needs, and customizations required to extend SFDC solutions.

Provide/lead technical documentation, project artifacts, delivery estimates, prototypes, technical upgrades, CRM roadmap development, vendor & global technology peer engagement, and executive/leadership communication & walkthroughs.

Lead designing, creating, deploying and managing architecture and technical standards internally.

Provide a standard common business vocabulary, express strategic functional, technical, and data requirements for Salesforce/CRM solutions, outline high level integrated designs to meet these requirements, and align with enterprise strategy and related business architecture.

Map the systems and interfaces, establish CRM management strategy, set standards for data management and functionality usage, analyze current state and conceive desired future state, and conceive projects needed to close the gap between current state and future goals.

Ability to astutely operate in the organization, able to emphasize methodology, modeling, and governance.

Design and develop processes and dashboards used for the proactive monitoring of the health and performance of Salesforce and associated services to increase business performance and continuity.

Modernize Analytics and leverage Einstein as applicable.

Communicate to management on issues, risks and status of the Salesforce/CRM solutions.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Skills/Experience You’ll Need:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or
Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

8-10 years’ experience in Solution, Architecture, Administration, and Technical
Implementation of enterprise Salesforce/CRM solutions.

Deep knowledge and expertise across the Salesforce.com platform (Sales Cloud, Service
Cloud, Marketing Cloud etc.), including experience delivering complex SFDC solutions via both declarative and customization aspects.

Experience pertaining to integration with other systems (MDM, ERP, BI etc.) a huge plus.

Strong leadership, analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to establish effective working relationships and contribute alongside robust teams of Salesforce.com delivery team members, including Client, Tech Leads, Architects, and Developers (including offshore).

From an architecture perspective, candidate should have experience in requirements gathering, providing alternatives to solutions with pros and cons, writing Architectural
Decisions, and creating architecture views (conceptual, logical and physical).

Deep understanding of CRM solution(s), associated Data Modeling, common object usage (Customer, Opportunity etc.), CRM Best Practices, Metadata Management and other governance practices.


Serves as a collaborative team-player who possesses the ability to drive consensus and camaraderie.

Ability to negotiate and obtain buy-in across various constituents and stakeholders at the organization, including within the lines-of-business. Has delivered multiple full end-to-end Salesforce.com implementations/projects, especially including highly-integrated/complex ecosystems and using Salesforce Lightning. Understands how to deliver capabilities on Salesforce AppExchange products.

Knowledge management experience a plus.

Proficiency in Salesforce.com development environment including Custom Objects,
Workflows, Triggers, Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Einstein
Analytics, and Web Services.

Experience with enterprise integration to Salesforce.com


Familiarity with tools such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, TIBCO, Oracle ORDS and SAP is a plus.

Exposure to various programming languages a plus: HTML/XHTML, XML, Java, JavaScript,
AJAX, SQL, SOAP-based web services, Apex, and SOQL.

Good understanding of inner workings in Linux/UNIX and Windows OS administration.

Knowledge of Cloud based CRM Systems (Salesforce) and Enterprise business systems such as Oracle EBS and SAP.

Working knowledge of application virtualization technologies and other application infrastructure architectures.

Experience in integrating Salesforce.com and Force.com with relational databases, 3rd party platforms, and Salesforce.com partner applications; understanding of Web Services.

Understanding of security model and ensuring solutions include risk and security coverage.

Good understanding of common change management, production support and service operations.

Knowledgeable with source control management tools and processes.

Strong use of Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills at all levels of the organization.
