Job Summary

The Manager FP&A reports to the Global Manager FP&A in the Global Finance & Accounting group.

This newly created position works closely with the CFO, senior leadership team, and Business Unit leaders.

This will be a key leadership role and will have ownership of the global financial consolidation and planning application, the annual & long range plans, quarterly forecasts, and will provide quality financial and analytical support to the company.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Partner with and provide strategic support to Business Unit leaders by performing value-added analyses and preparing presentations to support critical decision making processes.

Develop and enhance financial planning processes that help drive effective data analytics and provide recommendations that will enable quality performance management discussions and better decision-making.

Manage the compilation, preparation and review of the company’s budget, forecast, target-setting, and long range plan processes, as well as, reporting and presenting such information to senior leadership.

Support the monthly close consolidation process by preparing variance analysis and reporting of results for multiple business units within the U.S. and International locations across multiple currencies.

Support the preparation and presentation of quarterly business reviews.

Support the company’s development activities by analyzing growth initiatives, including capital expenditure analysis, new product introductions, plant expansions, etc.

Support preparation of quarterly presentations to the Audit Committee and Board of Directors.

Support preparation of the annual financial audit, including preparing/reviewing supporting documentation and disclosure requirements.

Develop and formalize post investment and capital review processes across the company.

Prepare valuation of and analytic support for the company’s annual stock valuation process.

Develop leadership capabilities within self and others and foster a positive work environment.



To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following:

BS in Accounting or Finance required. CPA or MBA highly preferred.

5-10 years of progressive work experience.

Superior analytical skills, critical thinking, and forward-looking capabilities.

Expert level experience using a financial consolidation and planning system, preferably BPC (SAP); experience with Oracle is also preferred.

Motivation to be a self-starter, with advanced problem solving and issue resolution skills.

Advanced financial modeling and computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SAP’s BPC, and Oracle.

Aptitude to analyze and interpret complex financial and statistical data but can also see the "big picture .

Executive presence combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills to cultivate strong partnerships across all business levels.

Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines while balancing multiple tasks / priorities.
