Senior Network Engineer/Architect

Five-Month Contract

Westminster, CO

Are you a seasoned Network Engineer verging on architect? Do you have an AWS deployment under your belt and a background in client consulting? This is the perfect role for you!

Job Functions:

- Perform high-end troubleshooting and performance diagnostics in Enterprise Wide Area Network Infrastructures

- Interface with customers to collect and clarify requirements

- Manage network communications testing, installation, and support for the LAN/MAN/WAN system

- Identify and diagnose problems affecting network performance using software and hardware tools

- Research, evaluate and recommend new computer network equipment and technologies; provide recommendations to enhance and improve network performance

- Perform system engineering design, integration, and implementation tasks and activities, including coordination of personnel, hardware, software, budget, facilities, and/or equipment

- Utilize monitoring, performance analysis, network management, software and hardware equipment to trouble shoot and isolate problems, gauge networking performance and trace data and protocol activity.

Required Experience:

- 10+ years of experience in network engineering, especially for Medium to Large WAN networks: supporting functions and concepts of WAN, designing LAN/WANs, etc.

- AWS deployment experience - several highly preferred

- Experience w/ Juniper routing/switching configuration and troubleshooting to the CCNP level

- IP Experience (sub-netting and routing) IPV4/V6

- Routing Protocols: BGP/OSPF/Static

- Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) Routing Instances

- Performance Mgmt Tools: SNMP, Netflow, NetScout, Gigamon, Deep Packet Inspection, etc.

Additional:

- M-F 8-5 in Westminster (some minimal travel to Longmont required)

- Experience with deep packet capture and analysis is highly preferred

- Potential to convert to full-time employee
