Software Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable web-based applications using the latest technologies and software best practices
Software testing planning and execution; software troubleshooting and bug fixing;
software deployment and production support
Be responsible for collaborating on a cross-functional; participate in retrospectives, sprint planning, and sprint reviews for the team
Work with cross functional team in an agile SDLC; collaborate with product owners, technical team-members, business stakeholders and designers to implement enhancements or
new applications
Propose innovative solutions to complex problems
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4+ years experience in Ruby on Rails
Experience in software development, in particular Object-Oriented Design languages (Java,
C#, Python, Perl, etc)
Experience programming in a Linux environment
Enjoys challenges associated with learning new topics
Highly proactive & detail-oriented
Ability to identify and implement creative solutions
Ability to think analytically, and apply general concepts to other applicable topics
