Java Full Stack Developer

Long Term Contract

Responsibilities:

Design technical infrastructure for applications and assist in defining application tools.

Develop applications architecture and blueprints which reflect business logic of the section or division.

Define application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools.

Participate in the evaluation and implementation of vendor application software and tools.

Provide technical guidance to cross-functional, cross-platform application development teams.

Consult on integration and conversion activities, experiences, and considerations.

Participate in mapping technology-independent applications architecture to chosen technology platform.

Conduct reviews and analyses of organizational needs to make recommendations regarding the development and implementation of applications.

Act as subject matter expert and stay abreast of latest technology infrastructure and processes in industry and marketplace.

Participate in the resolution of high-impact, moderately complex system problems affecting multiple applications or across multiple platforms using the appropriate debugging tools and techniques such as probes, animators, traces, sniffers, and dumps.
Contribute to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 10-12 years of experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Extensive experience with Java, REST, SOA, AngularJS, and SQL.

Microservices is a plus

Cloud knowledge is a plus (AWS preferred)

API knowledge is a plus
