Accounts Payable Supervisor

Plano, TX

We are searching for a detailed Accounts Payable Supervisor to join a top ranked company in Plano.

Top candidates will have experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable environment and at least two years as a supervisor.

Responsibilities

Supervise current accounts payable team including training, ensuring productivity, evaluating workflow

Provide hands-on and timely feedback to accounts payable team members

Review performance statics and provide constructive recommendations to management

Complete weekly and monthly reporting to analyze trends and evaluate team

Resolve escalated issues for clients and vendors

Make adjustments in the GL, assist in monthly close

Full-cycle accounts payable

Identify and obtain credits from vendors to ensure proper coding

Utilize 3-way match to match invoices and code according to the general ledger

Post invoices for payment in a timely manner

Verification and reconciliation of vendor statements

Work in a fast-paced, team environment

Requirements

5-7 years within Accounts Payable, 2+ years in a supervisory role

Associates degree highly preferred

HS Diploma or GED required

Intermediate Excel (vLookups and Pivot Tables)

Major ERP system

Strong customer service, communication and organizational skills
