A Microsoft Windows Application Packaging Consulting Engineer position: The candidate will be involved with the design, scope, and implementation of all applications requested to be packaged. The candidate will leverage the Microsoft AppV Sequencer tool to create packages in Microsoft AppV. The candidate will help perform QA testing and troubleshooting of the packaged application. If required, other third party tools may be used for applications that require customized - Solid experience with Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 10 Desktop Operating Systems - Solid experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM) -Solid experience with Microsoft Application Virtualization - AppV Sequencer for AppV packaging for Desktops and Citrix XenApp Servers -Solid experience with PowerShell and VBScript -Solid experience with pilot testing and deployment of application packages via SCCM - Solid experience with Active Directory Infrastructure and troubleshooting (OU's, GPO's…) -Provide customized solution for complex applications that require additional configurations. -Conduct root cause analysis and remediation efforts on application packaging and deployments. -Diagnose application deployments issues and perform roll-back as needed. -Provide documentation and knowledge transfer with all of the application packaging processes and standards
