Job Description

Front End Developer

The front-end developer creates custom applications in a web environment, manipulation of data between platforms, systems analysis to assist organization in process automation and re-engineering initiatives.

Additional activities related to technology projects either in an advisory or participant role may be required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop new user-facing features while ensuring maximum browser and device compatibility

Build reusable templates, code and libraries for future use

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs for consumers and business partners

Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Work with marketing staff in the creation and deployment of web content, including the development, testing and deployment of custom written web applications and services

Work with database administrator to design, develop, and update databases as they relate to Web applications

Resolve browser compatibility issues and diagnose and troubleshoot problems with web applications

QUALIFICATIONS

2-3 years related work experience

Comprehensive experience with structuring, developing, and implementing interactive web sites with a content management back-end

Experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements and defining functional requirements

Highly self-motivated and directed with keen attention to detail and ability to
effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Experience working in a small, team-oriented, collaborative environment, preferably in the manufacturing and sales support industry.

Good communication and organizational skills.
