Systems Analyst The Systems Analyst is expected to be proficient in managing processes, analytically inclined and be able to work with data. Healthcare experience is helpful. Primary Responsibilities: Define requirements and work with vendor/programmers to implement Perform quality assurance to ensure compliance with requirements Perform analysis on data or issues to identify root cause or solutions Manage new and existing client implementations Leverage SQL & ODBC to perform data import functions Communicate with IT management on the progress of the various initiatives Collaborate with IT and non-IT personnel to complete required tasks Essential Qualifications: Experience in the healthcare and/or insurance industry as well as experience with EDI ANSI x12 standards. Experience working as an analyst for EDI projects preferred. Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Understanding of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Strong attention to detail and perform consistent work product validation/QA Strong analytical skills Conversant with data integrity principles 5+ years of progressive experience Knowledge of HIPAA, X12 EDI 834 and other health care transactions Microsoft Office SQL
