DATABASE DEVELOPER – PostgreSQL

GRAPEVINE/FLOWER MOUND, TX

POSITION:

ICS is looking for a Database Developer, who has recent experience in a PostGres environment, to join our client's team in the Grapevine/Flower Mound area! This person will be a major asset in contributing to new company initiatives that will modernize and improve efficiencies of the software solutions utilized across their customer base!

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is a strong communicator and problem solver.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Responsible for module design / low level architecture.

Code/develop applications to program specifications

Participate in customer interaction, code review and follow-up.

Manage all performance issues

Write unit test code, using tools and writing test cases

Support deployed solutions (debugging and fixing problems)

Grasping the functional requirements and understanding the detailed application design •
Low level estimation of projects

Adhere to agreed time frames

Meeting agreed standards and best practices

Take-up complete ownership of the work assigned in terms of quality and timeliness

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

5 years of IT experience on Database development and maintenance.

2 years on PostgreSQL/ Cassandra hands on development experience.

Working experience on Agile development work environment

Experience using Bitbucket or Git

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
