Job Description

Our client is seeking a well-rounded Quality Assurance Engineer.

This engineer will be responsible for establishing and implementing quality assurance and compliance processes for the IT organization.

You work with development, testing and production teams to develop, publish and implement software quality assurance plans.

You will develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications.

You will also conduct test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.

Finally, this individual defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related engineering field

5-7 years of relevant work experience in quality assurance

Agile methodology experience

Ability to interpret and work with test scripts written by other people

Ability to organize and implement test automation methods, following company development architecture and code management standards

Ability to provide input to solution innovation, thinking outside the box

Ability to provide guidance to other QA analysts in test execution

Nice to have:

5+ years in cross-platform, end-to-end, regression, and UAT test methods

Solid experience and understanding of iOS and MacOS

Experience with app integrations using eCommerce platforms and other system dependencies

Providing dashboard metrics of test process and results per release to team leaders

Experience using QA Tools for the right level of quality assurance activities.

Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Experience working in high intensity, fast paced environment.

Ability to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems.

Must be able consistently identify critical elements, variables and alternatives to develop solutions.

Requires excellent communication skills with ability to state messages in a clear manner by using language that is easy for others to understand.
