Job Description

The Financial Reporting Manager will operate with a high level of integrity and ensure all accounts and reporting systems are in compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.

The Financial Reporting Manager will partner with the Chief Accounting Officer to align tactical and strategic financial activities with the short and long term plan of the business.

Major Responsibilities:

Prepares consolidations, financial statements in accordance with GAAP, disclosures and financial exhibits

Prepares financial reports (i.e. Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow statements) for management, lenders and investors

Manage monthly consolidation and elimination process

Manage Global Chart of Accounts

Prepares supporting schedules, reconciliations and supporting package for all reports

Key contributor and liaison between Company and outside accounting firm for the annual audit matters

Prepare technical accounting position papers on a variety of financial reporting topics

Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures

Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls

Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting periodic internal audits as needed

Implement procedures to reduce costs, and discrepancies and improve efficiencies and profitability of the company

Assist senior management in the execution of special projects

Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements

Education and/or Experience:

BS in Accounting or Finance

Advanced degree, CPA and/or MBA

10+ years of progressive experience

Thorough current knowledge of GAAP
