Full-Stack Java/Cloud Developer
6+ MONTHS CONTRACT TO HIRE
POSITION:
ICS is looking for a Senior Java Developer, with enterprise-level development experience, to join our growing Fintech client in Wilmington, DE! This person will be part of the Compliance and Corporate Technology team within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies: Core Java, Spring, SpringBoot, and cloud development.
Necessary skills:
Expert in in Full Stack design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across Banking
Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset
May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks
Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill
Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test
Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies/trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articles
Work in one feature oriented agile team following industry standard Agile practice by attending daily scrum meeting, PBR grooming, Sprint planning, Retrospective and etc.
Take and complete stories she commits on time in each sprint, and continuously deliver defect free business valuable components
Design and implement new features following the best develop practices, eg. using right design patterns to improve the quality of the code, write unit tests to improve overall test code coverage
Refactor legacy monolithic UDS applications to micro-services and 12 factor apps
Help implementing test automation pipeline on Jules, the Jenkins server on the cloud
Help migrating UDS applications to Gaia, the private cloud
Participate and provide technical supports during UDS production releases
Remediate/Resolve any production issues that are assigned to her in timely manner
