Job Description
Java Application Developer
Looking for a Full Stack Java application developer with extensive experience implementing Web Services (JSON/REST).
Candidate will work on a variety of projects, including critical client-facing applications.
Skills Required
- A minimum of 5-7+ years Professional experience developing applications in Java
- Well versed in design patterns, multi-threaded n-tier application design.
- Ability to logically think through complex problems and come up with efficient solutions
- Extensive experience with Web-Services (SOAP/RESTful) and Spring boot
- Extensive experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Integration Techonologies: MQ, XML, SOAP, JSON- Build tools: Ant, Gradle/Maven, Jenkins, GIT/Perforce
- Very Strong DB SQL skills (Sybase, DB2)
- Unix/Linux - Shell Scripting- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Skills Desired
- UI development skills using Angular/other modern Web frameworks
- Financial industry knowledge
- Experience working with global teams
Education: B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent
