AWS Architect

St Paul, MN

$120,000 - $160,000 range DOQ

Small, established tech firm is looking for an AWS Architect to join their team! Looking for a "technical, hands on Architect/Engineer as this is a small digital team doing some very cool, cutting edge development on highly profitable HW/SW products!

Develop tools and automate processes related to AWS services

Ensure system and network security as we grow

Ensure system and network scalability as we grow

Implement monitoring and automate failover solutions

Implement (alongside the development team) CI/CD for our projects

Meet with clients along with our sales team, when technical knowledge of infrastructure is required

Assist our development team (web-based development) with development items on an as-needed basis

AWS microservice, "serverless " offerings is a must: Lambda, ECS (Fargate), DynamoDB, Athena, API Gateway, Kinesis

Experience with a wide range of more traditional AWS services: EC2, RDS, S3, Redshift, Rekognition, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch, IAM, StepFunctions, Cognito
CloudFormation is a must

Serverless framework (https://serverless.com/) is a must
monitoring services (Datadog, NewRelic, etc.)

CI/CD best practices

Some exposure to / nice to have:

web-based development (HTML5, Javascript, CSS, etc.)

other cloud providers (Azure, Google Cloud)

Terraform would be a

AWS certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional and/or AWS Certified
DevOps Engineer Professional
