Audit Manager

Fort Worth, TX

Responsibilities

Plan, supervise and review multiple audit engagements and other client assignments

Advanced understanding of technical accounting with the ability to research issues and provide management with technical guidance on complex issues

Prepare deliverables to senior leadership promptly with few required changes

Execution of audit plan in all financial statement areas

Ability to plan, perform and deliver work independently on large complex engagements

Direct and mentor associates across multiple concurrent projects

Advanced understanding of operations, accounting systems and industries

Requirements

5-7 years of recent public external auditing experience

Bachelor's degree – Accounting, related field

Master's degree (preferred)

CPA, active in Texas

Experience within public sector preferred

Demonstrate strong working knowledge of technical accounting

Strong project management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication
