Job Description
A telecommunications leader is seeking a senior level developer specializing in Java/Spring for their facility in Ashburn, VA.
The primary duties of the Java Developer include:
RESMicroservices” Full life cycle product support of software including design, implementation, testing and documentation for new Spectrum Access System products and features within an Agile-Scrum development team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS of the Java Developer:
” BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent required
” 5+ years of direct design and programming experience with Java/Spring/REST/Microservices on Linux platforms
“
” Experience developing for Amazon Web Services
” Experience developing in a microservices architecture using Docker containers
” Additional expertise in Gradle, Netflix OSS, PostgreSQL, and Couchbase is an advantage
” Experience with source code control and CI using Perforce and Jenkins is an advantage
” Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Part of an ongoing SAS project
must have:
Java or Spring experience
Docker experience
Linux / AWS prefered.
