Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and ensuring successful completion of projects according to the specifications, resources and deadlines assigned, all while keeping the project within budget.
The Project Manager must work efficiently and effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, create project plans, secure resources and oversee quality control throughout the entire project.
In addition, the Project Management will need to be able to identify, assess and minimize project risks until successful project completion. This position will be required to manage both internal as well as external facing projects.
Position Responsibilities
Act as the project manager for multiple projects concurrently
Scope, plan, and manage process against the plan (setup weekly meetings, manage deliverables/milestones, escalate risks and issues, propose solutions to ensure project delivery)
Work cross-functionally to effectively guide projects from planning through deployment with both the internal implementation team and external client resources
Track, follow up, and report on project financials, LOEs, action items, issues and risks
Develop effective working relationships with client personnel
Should be able to interact verbally and in writing and viewed as a trusted resource on the team.
To create project management documentation, process documents and internal/external communication.
Take detailed meeting minutes to support future recall
Required Knowledge and Experience
5-7 years of project management experience
4-6 years of experience with software management, project or program management. Fintech related experience preferred
Have a strong record of or interest in leadership in a work setting
Enjoy working on teams, compiled of employees from different departments
Excellent writing skills; internal communication and documentation are an important part of our success
Strong MS Office Skills including Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects with competing interests for time and evolving priorities
Ability to take initiative to seek out information
Client facing experience
Experience with implementation of SaaS applications a plus
Demonstrated experience managing organizational change
Understanding of project metrics and assessing and communicating impact
Required:

Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability, and drive

Demonstrated ability to take ownership for the successful completion of all assigned projects
PMP designation a plus but does not replace relevant work experience
Financial services industry experience
