Business Analyst- Data Analytics
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Data Governance, Data Quality for overall design of the bank-wide data/information architecture which maps to the future to be data solution.
This key position will report to the Data Officer (Governance and Analytics) and work closely with the Head of IT and Business on both tactical and strategic enterprise-level data design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Interface with the all first line and second line of business group focus on BSA/AML/KYC, financial and risk data and KRI report requirement and creation.
Serve as Business/Data Analytics expert to prepare business and technical data requirement, changing management, requirement signing-offs.
Update data dictionary, data linage, and data quality and DQ scorecard
Write and read complex queries and investigate data quality issues using data languages such as SQL, R, Python, etc
Work with stakeholder, business and IT for data remediation plan and make those changes over the existing system Contribute toward the development of the Data Governance and Analytics Office – Client, Financial and risk data governance and reporting
Responsible for data analysis, risk/financial report reconciliation and integration efforts, as well as innovating solutions to challenges in the risk and financial reporting space
Design and create risk & Analytics report
Create all KRI reports' business and functional requirement
Qualifications:
8+ years' experience data driven solution for both traditional and advance approach
Practical experience data governance, data quality and Analytics, Risk reporting and dashboard.
Knowing TM, Sanction, KYC, credit business as well as financial models
Strong SQL, PL/SQL, Python/Python Web or C#/WPF, VBA coding experience
5+ years' experience with regulatory requirement and reporting for Client-504, Client 239 &/or others
Strong business analyst background in finance banking industry
Great knowledge about risk management &/or financial reporting space
Prior hedge funds &/or big four experience prefer
MBA &/or Financial Engineer background prefer
