Job Description

Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is currently seeking a talented Data Analytics Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our clients in the Columbus, Ohio area.

Description:

Expert in at least one technology and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems / infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers).

Is multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolset.

May be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks.
Sought out as coach for at least one technical skill.

Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security.

Stays abreast of cutting edge technologies / trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies/trends to support the business.

Required Experience:

• 8+ Years of experience in IT

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

• 3+ years of experience as an Alteryx and/or Tableau Admin role.

• 3+ years of experience as an Alteryx and/or Tableau designing and/or developing.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology

• 5+ years of experience in diving deep on data analysis or technical issues to come up with effective solutions

Qualification:

• Alteryx and/or Tableau Server architecture and configuration

• Administration experience using Alteryx and/or Tableau 2018.x or higher

• Knowledge in Architecting/Installing/Upgrading Alteryx and/or Tableau to newer versions

• Experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau customizations

• Ability to troubleshoot issues within Alteryx and/or Tableau.

• Proficient in Windows PowerShell scripting

• Proficient in Unix/Linux scripting

• SQL skills Knowledge of Relational and Dimensional data modeling Concepts

• Experience with relational databases: Teradata, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and others.

• Experience in Java/C/C++ is a plus

• Experience in any ETL tool (e.g. Informatica, DataStage, etc.)

• Excellent interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
