Transaction Monitoring Data Analytics Professional

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in relevant disciplines such as Information Systems and/or Computer Science.

Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or other quantitatively-rigorous discipline, a plus.

Applicable professional certifications a plus.

Knowledge of, and experience supporting BSA/AML initiatives, including Sanctions (OFAC) Screening preferred.

Working knowledge of relevant BSA/AML and Sanctions (OFAC) business systems such as Actimize, Detica, Norkom, Mantas and/or GIFTS.

Ability to evaluate compliance systems issues and determine process for resolution.

Knowledge of banking products, policies, operations and applicable procedures.

Knowledge of/or exposure to federal, state and local BSA/AML and OFAC laws and regulations.

Strong documentation skills.

Strong organization, analytical and project management skills.

Strong planning, implementation and negotiation skills.

Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Professional
presentation skills for audiences including, but not limited to, senior leadership, regulatory and business partners.

Ability to facilitate meetings and key conversations, documenting meetings and action items for publication and tracking, driving actions and initiatives on behalf of Compliance Team.

Scope and Purpose

Transaction Monitoring Program (TMP) IT system support.

Execution of TMP system periodic reviews, including Rule tuning.

Support the annual DFSNYS 504 attestation process and related activities.

Partner with Compliance BSA/AML/OFAC Analysts and Investigators to understand their workflow and to utilize their feedback, where appropriate, to strengthen the quality of work products.

Partner with Business Line and local technology and compliance to fully understand Branch product offerings, compliance functions, and where the compliance personnel can provide
value in terms of risk coverage and mitigation.

Liaise with Branch IT department regarding vendor selection and system maintenance and routine testing.

Perform User Acceptance Testing ( "UATaI A A ) testing on behalf of Compliance.

Identify data issues and assist in tracking the resolution.
