About SQL Server Database Developer / Report Writer

The SQL Server Database Developer / Report Writer is responsible for all facets of the database development process.

This includes ETL, Advanced SQL Coding, Optimization, Database Modeling, Indexing, Database Tuning Advisor, SQL Profiler, SSIS, SSRS, Triggers, Database Security, SQL Jobs, and Diagnostic Tools.

Responsibilities

Developing Stored Procedures for the Technology Engineering Development teams (Web, Windows, Services)

Assisting the Technology Engineering, Client Services, and Management teams with reporting needed for applications and clients

Creating ETL processes to generate needed reporting data

Troubleshooting database performance issues

Identifying, documenting and applying fixes to application and ERP data issues

Works with Business Intelligence Team to sets up and maintain database warehouses.

Assists Application Architecture in regards to data-tier solutions.

Debugging/Optimizing existing queries and stored procedures.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

3-5 + years of hands-on experience in SQL Server }(2008R2 and 2017), T-SQL, Stored
Procedures/Views/Triggers (creation, tuning, and maintenance), RDBMS Queries and DQL, SSIS, SSRS

Experience with SQL Server CLR development, OLAP and/or Pivot Tables, Enterprise-Level reporting tools preferred

Exposure to C3/.Net/ASP.Net preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with team members of different technology disciplines.
