LEAD SALESFORCE ARCHITECT

Seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Architect to join a stable and growing professional services organization.

The Lead Salesforce Architect will be responsible for leading a global high performing team of analysts, administrators, architects and developers leveraging the Salesforce technology and platform to help clients transform their sales, service and marketing capabilities.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate thought leader-level knowledge and a proven record of success directing efforts in assisting large employers on the performance improvement of their Sales, Service and Marketing organizations.

Salesforce is used across the entire organization and you will have high visibility and will be working closely with Project Management, Quality Assurance, Infrastructure and Client executives across various Business units.

Looking for a Lead Salesforce Architect who is extremely hands-on, can lead and has the polish and professionalism to work with C-level and the business across the organization.
Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver on system design and development for the needed business requirements supporting various Business Units.

Lead cross-functional teams to implement new applications, technology currency and provide ongoing maintenance for those systems supporting various Business Units.

Lead and manage the portfolio of work for various business units

Work across the service organization including teams responsible for requirements, project and program management, solution architecture, quality assurance, infrastructure and production support

Develop, maintain and continuously improve the metrics, SLAs of the environments in which our systems have been deployed

Develop and maintain the various environments (Development, Test, Production, Business Continuity, etc.).

Develop and implement mentoring, training, coaching, performance feedback, regular evaluation for associates of the requirements team members

Understanding and solving business and technology challenges related to the implementation of CRM technologies, delivering Enterprise Social platforms, designing and developing platform-based applications that meet client business needs;

Leveraging acumen to understand underlying client business problems, while developing and
delivering Salesforce technology-enabled solutions that addresses the identified issues.

This includes understanding the sales, service and marketing functions within the organization and how the technology will help streamline organizational needs;

Performing as a team leader, supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;

Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback

Conduct industry, market, competitive and value chain analysis

Drive strategic change into client organization.

Lead and manage continuous improvement planning deliverables

Ensure that solutions are being delivered are per standards of availability, scalability and security point of view and that are done on time with highest quality

Ensure that standards and guidelines are created for all aspects of systems requirements

Ensure that all delivery artifacts are reviewed and are according to the standards and guidelines

Ensure that SLAs are being met for services

Provide support and maintenance for the services being offered to the business and the environments in which they are offered

Work with hardware, software and services vendors

Provide strong and deep technical insights in various disciplines across delivery

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes and best practices

Establish and maintain competence in current and planned versions of products

Understand the use of industry tools / technology & their impact on project & operational goals

Assist in process improvement initiatives by working across technical teams to enhance the systems, processes and controls to ensure effective development, monitoring, and support is in place

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.

Master's Degree in Computer Science or MBA preferred

10+ years of broad Information Technology Experience

5+ years as a demonstrated IT thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in a global technology firm within Salesforce and CRM

5+ years experience in creating Salesforce.com technical designs, involving configuration setup and coding in APEX. Strong knowledge of Salesforce.com functional and technical best practices and methodologies.

Up to date and active professional certifications required (Salesforce.com Certified Administrator, and/or Salesforce.com Certified Developer, Salesforce.com Certified Sales/Service Consultant)

4+ years' experience in SQL and performance tuning of the same for systems utilizing RDBMS

Implementing system applications, software configurations, and XML or other related coding in the following CRM technological product suites: Salesforce.com, Marketo, Eloqua or other SaaS and On-Premise ERP

Experience in working with Enterprise Architecture, Systems Requirements, Project and Program Management, Systems Design and Delivery, Quality Assurance, and Infrastructure

Demonstrated management, leadership and interpersonal skills and experience

Demonstrated experience in mentoring, training, coaching, performance feedback, regular evaluation

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated project management and planning skills and experience

Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology and procedures

Ability to conduct an analysis of business needs, including scheduling meetings, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations

Demonstrated experience in working with various geographically diverse associates and vendor partners

Demonstrated budget management, tracking and forecasting skills and experience

Demonstrated on-time and on-budget system delivery skills and experience

Strong knowledge of organization policies and procedures

Demonstrated knowledge of systems and application technologies and architecture

Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining business continuity including disaster recovery, and failover plans.

Demonstrated experience in using combination of Toolsets (that includes JIRA, SVN/TFS, Rational UML etc.) to deliver systems.

Demonstrated experience in creating, maintaining and improving processes, metrics, SLA's for the various interfaces, systems, uptime etc.

Demonstrated experience in working with batch interfaces, schedulers with dependencies etc.

Demonstrated experience in managing, supporting hardware and software upgrades, patches and deployments.

Leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction, motivate members, creating an atmosphere of trust, leveraging diverse views, coaching staff, and encouraging improvement and innovation;

Leveraging Business transformation skills with a track record of successful change enablement with quantifiable result

Utilizing analytical skills with the ability to translate complex problems into simple and actionable tasks

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience
