Job Description
The CDD Quality Control Analyst reports directly to the QC Team Lead and is responsible for Quality Control of the CDD's performed by CDD Analyst.
Major Responsibilities:
Subject matter expertise in AML, CDD, and KYC regulatory requirements.
Performs Quality Control with a systematic methodology.
Conducts training on identified deficiencies as part of the CDD QC Review process.
Clear knowledge of complete CDD cycle and ability to compartmentalize issues in review.
Knowledge of metrics driven reports (KRIs, KPIs, etc.).
Ability to communicate findings and create remediation plan through training to address skill gaps.
Demonstrated success articulating and delivering findings on AML high risk behaviors and KYC date.
Assists leadership with escalating potential compliance driven risks.
Assists leadership with additional duties such as special projects, time driven deliverables, and customer escalations.
Required Experience, Skills, and Competencies:
Bachelor's Degree
3-6 years of experience, preferably in a large financial institution
High Level analytical research and investigative skill set including experience with background checks/intelligence/customer research/transactional analysis
Ability to contribute, support, and lead efforts to achieve departments/business unit goals, up to and including recommendations to changes in policy and procedures resulting from review findings, participate in leadership level meetings, and quality assurance review of analyst case work.
