Senior Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

Analyze financial data for investment decisions and create financial models for decision support

Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking

Manage the consolidation of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting

Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial

Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support

Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps

Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives

Assist in the preparation of presentations to Board of Directors and Senior Management Team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

3-5 five years of experience with budgeting, forecasting & reporting

Cost accounting experience preferred

Previous manufacturing experience desired

Strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite with emphasis on advanced Excel

Strong aptitude with ERP systems, Great Plains or TCM a plus

Ability to identify financial and operational control issues and drive changes to build a robust control environment

To be a self-starter and proactive; identify problems and potential solutions to management
