Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated, experience Azure Backend Developer who will be responsible for working with the web team and the ETL team to implement new functionality (Azure services, micro services, ETL customizations, etc.) as well as modifications to meet the changing needs of our customers (stored proc changes, SQL schema changes, API changes, services changes, etc.). This position will be integral in migrating our application re-architecture from existing VM hosted services over to Azure hosted services as well as migrating the web application back end re-architecture to be more scalable. This position requires a strong blend of communication and technical skills.

Responsibilities:

” Work closely with Application Development team to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

” Gather and address technical and design requirements.

” Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

” Creating and updating SQL Server stored procedures, and transactions, adding and modifying tables.

Required Skills/ Qualifications:

” Experience using Azure services Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, etc.

” 5+ years of experience in a relational database design including referential integrity, with strong understanding of key data elements, table indexing and database tuning

” 5+ years of experience with C# development with desire to focus on back end of enterprise web applications.

” 5+ years of experience developing highly tuned T-SQL Stored Procedures for web front-end applications.

” Enterprise experience developing and maintaining SQL Server 2016.

” Ability to solve complex problems, strong analytical skills and the ability to trace issues to the root source.

” Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus

Preferred Skills

” Experience with working in a hosted environment.

” SaaS experience.

” Data Warehousing and BI platform.

” Familiarity with front-end languages.
