Job Description
Enterprise Vault and O365 Engineer aka UC Engineer.
Our client is a national recognized insurance firm that continues to grow through Mergers and Acquisitions.
Due to this aggressive growth the Messaging team is looking for a Unified Communications Engineer who has in depth knowledge and experience with Enterprise Vault on premise and cloud.
The Unified Communications Engineer will perform legal discovery cases via Enterprise Vault and O365. More dutes and skills listed below.
Duties
Perform legal discovery cases via Enterprise Vault and O365
Documenting knowledge base (support) articles
Perform email/Skype/Unified Messaging migrations, archive re-hydrations
Update mail infrastructure records (e.g. TXT, MX, SPF) to ensure proper mail flow
Troubleshoot mail flow/Skype/Unified Messaging and end user experiences
Creation/Permissioning of Shared Mailboxes, Distribution Lists, Room Mailboxes, Alias
Addition, SMTP Relay IP Additions via Script and Manual
Skills
In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Vault on Premises as well as Enterprise Vault Cloud solutions
REGEX, SQL scripting
Familiarity with retention and archiving policies
Experience with working with Legal and Compliance organizations under strict deadlines
Deep knowledge of email concepts, RFCs, and email environment "best practices
Thorough knowledge of Mimecast, Office 365, Unified Messaging in O365, Exchange 2010/2013/2016, Lync 2010/2013, Skype for Business Online, and Outlook 2010/2013/2016/O365
Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS experience a must
Deep PowerShell experience; experience with other scripting/coding languages (e.g. PERL, C#, .NET) a plus
Candidate should also be comfortable with Client and SFTP data handling
Varied experience with migration from non-Microsoft email systems to on-premise Exchange or O365
Familiarity of common change control processes
