Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is currently seeking a talented UI/UX Devloper for a contract-to-hire opportuniy with one of our clients in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Description:
Seeking a well rounded hands-on developer that is experienced in building systems that support full Investment Management investment cycle with the main focus on Beta Indexing products from portfolio construction to portfolio execution and trading.
The candidate will be part of the front-office technology team and have good business knowledge and communication skills to work with the stakeholders and develop functional specification.
Candidate will be joining a high performance, award winning team who build applications that support the Investment Management investment cycle with the main focus on research, portfolio management, and investment directly related to trading model implications.
Successful candidate:
” Working closely with portfolio managers to develop front-office capital markets/investment management applications.
” Working closely with researchers to implement alpha model, risk models.
” Designing and implementing the next generation of portfolio construction and portfolio analytics visualization tool.
Required Experience and Skills:
At least 4-5 years of experience in a financial service environment with a focus in finance front-office applications.
” Extensive experience and recognized expert in HMTL5, React, JavaScript/TypeScript and CSS.
” Other skills such as Redux, D3JS, NodeJs and Jest are required as well.
” Solid experienced in other OO languages like C# or Java with an emphasis on WPF
” Good experience with SQL server, data modeling, and performance tuning
” Strong architecture experience, familiar with backend service oriented architecture
Business Knowledge and others:
” Ability to make strategic decisions on UI design and development.
” Experience of working in financial services, in a front-office environment
“Very pro-active, delivery focus, strong experience on Agile programming
“Excellent analytical, problem solving skills
“Good understanding of cross assess classes markets and institutional investment process.
“Experience with market data feed/tools
“Statistical background is a plus
“CFA, FRM, CQF, MBA or a Financial Engineering degree is a good plus
