Systems Administrator

Contract Position

Boulder, CO

Are you an Agile Linux Engineer/Administrator with recent experience in a DevOps Engineer role? Do you enjoy traditional IT as much as CI/CD, and consider yourself a self-motivated individual? This may the perfect role for you!

Job Functions:

Linux Administration and SQL Server maintenance/updates

Install, upgrade and patch Linux OS and Linux-based software

Orchestrating code from Development through Testing to Production

Working closely with technology teams in building out a new Data Center in Nashville, TN

Responsible for process improvement and continuous re-engineering for planning of test
and deployment of software.

Responsible for the orchestration towards continuous integration.

Incorporate a smooth transition between Developers, QA, DBAs and System Administrators.

Integrate workflow procedures supporting the rapid development, deployment and
integration of new software

Writes scripting changes as needed to help the monitoring process.

Required Experience:

- 5+ years of combined Linux Administration/Engineering experience

- 2+ years in a DevOps role utilizing any of the following automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Jenkins or Ansible (a combination of these tools is highly preferred)

- Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, CoreOS

- Strong experience with SQL Server

- Classic IT abilities (server administration, storage, etc.)
