IT DESKTOP SUPPORT CONSULTANT Oceanside, CA Open-Ended Contract We are hiring a IT Desktop Support Consultant with strong experience in Desktop Security. What You’ll Do: Perform Microsoft updates and patches Including Adobe and Java updates Troubleshoot and resolve failing patches Run vulnerability scans Install software and updates as necessary Review Nessus scan results to determine PC’s that are missing security updates Minimize risk across all users’ PC’s Skills/Experience You’ll Need: 5+ years of experience installing, troubleshooting and resolving Microsoft patches/upgrades Experience with Nessus Vulnerability Scan (preferably Professional Version 7) Experience with Windows Update Server (WSUS) Experience with remediation efforts Ability to work independently and hit the ground running!
