QA Engineer-Network

Boulder, CO

As a QA Engineer, you will work in a Network capacity on a team responsible for testing our complete WiFi product portfolio.

You will work on a variety of systems from the wireless ecosystem, call server infrastructure, Android, cloud based applications, to analytics and beyond.

Our passion is ensuring an optimal user experience in voice quality, design and ease of use of our product.

You will be creating and modifying existing tests with a focus on our SIP applications interoperability with a wide range of UC platforms with the support to learn skills beyond just software.

Our team works closely with three development groups.

Responsibilities:

- Call server configuration and feature validation

- Work with various groups within the company to define feature requirements

- Create integration/system level test cases based on requirements

- Perform manual acceptance and regression testing

- Collect and analyze logs and network traces of failure to determine the root cause of failures

- Configure wired/wireless test networks

Experience:

- 2+ years of software quality assurance engineering or network test engineering experience.

- Knowledge of software development and SQA processes

- CCNA certification or related experience with an emphasis on Voice or Collaboration

- Wired/wireless networking

- Experience with protocol analyzer, such as Wireshark, to capture, analyze and troubleshoot issues

- Experience with SIP or other VoIP telephony signaling

- Experience with HTTP(S), SSL/TLS, FTP, TFTP is desirable

- Experience with Java, Selenium, Linux is desirable

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related program

Preferred:

- Strong background in Voice or Collaboration preferred.
