The Principal DevOps Engineer will develop processes for QA Automation, CI/CD, and deployment that support digital transformation within the IoT domain.
You will be part of a dynamic team and utilize a variety of technologies to automatically validate and deploy solutions for advanced IoT problems.

What You Will Do:
Participate in SCRUM/Agile software planning and development process
Use DevOps practices and techniques to efficiently work with multidisciplinary teams including, Firmware, software, electrical equipment development
Design, Develop, Deploy and Monitor a variety of Equipment software solutions used to
support IoT equipment in the field.
Design, Develop, and Create automated systems to validate offerings prior to deployment
Work with R&D business units across Commercial and Industrial Segments to identify key metrics to in which to monitor for performance across deployed IoT solutions
Position Details:
This position is located in Naperville, Illinois
Work Schedule: full-time, standard business hours.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Three or more years in developing tools using Javascript, Python, Java or other comparable languages
Three or more years using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Two or more years’ experience with Yocto or Ubuntu administration
One or more years’ experience deploying, maintain, and monitoring solutions
Experience in developing tools for a Linux environment such as Yocto or Ubuntu
Experience with Agile planning and development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the following languages: C++, C, Java, Python, Javascript, or Node.js
Experience in developing recipes with Bitbake
Proven track record of evolving DevOps processes based on changes in technology
Proven track record of collaboration across various groups in multiple organizations
Ability to communicate technical concepts across a variety of skill sets and disciplines
