ICS is currently seeking a talented Infrastructure Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our clients in the Columbus, Ohio area.
Description:
Significant experience in both Systems Engineering and Software development. Proficient in at least one of the infrastructure
disciplines and functions: Internals of distributed Operating System (Unix/Linux, Windows, Z/OS) internals, Systems programming, Network programming, Experience in large scale software development in one or more of the programming languages (C, C++, Perl, Python, Java, C#,.NET), Enterprise scale and resiliency, Experience in system and software security and entitlements (SSO, windows, Kerberos, LDAP, Windows AD), Modern compute technologies (e.g., virtualization, cloud), Experience with Agile development process and automated testing, Experience working across large infrastructure environments and distributed across multiple data centers, Experience in end-to-end systems automation and orchestration, Experience in Systems and application monitoring systems and instrumentation.
Required Skills / Experience:
” Six or more years of relevant experience.
” Experience working within a large/global enterprise environment, developing, documenting and deploying N-tier distributed applications.
” Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical / IT field.
” Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS integration
” Strong architect experience with automation of VMWare, Citrix desktop virtualization technologies
” Programming experience with PowerShell and C#, WCF web service development and REST, Web services.
” General knowledge of application design principles, practices design patterns, DevOps and software life cycles.
” Experience in source code version including Bitbucket or GitHub.
” Experience in testing automation, continuous integration with tools such as Jenkins and Jira.
” Strong communication and interpersonal skills and excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
” Experience with AWS/Azure IaaS automation (tools, scripting, templates, etc)
” Experience with HashiCorp Terraform and Redhat Ansible
” Experience with coding microservices and APIs
” Experience with agile development
