SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR

GRAPEVINE/FLOWER MOUND, TX

Position:

ICS is working with a progessive, mid-sized organization to hire a Systems Administrator who will be be part of a team that is responsible for Windows networking, Support Desk ticket completion, after hour's coverage, hardware troubleshooting, software troubleshooting/ installation, on-site work and various networking administration tasks.

This is a Full-time role.

Responsibilities:

Tracks and maintains support tickets in support desk software

Works with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software

Trains and orients staff on use of hardware and software

Assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment.

Assists in maintaining LAN/WAN documentation

Server/system updates

Work directly with certain C-Level Executives in a professional and efficient manner as needed.

Requirements:

3+ years of Windows System Admin experience

VMware / vCenter Experience 3 years minimum, HA experience

Expert knowledge with Exchange 2010 or higher

Strong knowledge of Active Directory/LDAP

Network Monitoring Software with SNMP for network devices and servers

Backup / Restore ( Backup Exec or other backup SW) Veeam Backup S/W preferred

Monitor Servers and H/W

Disaster recovery plan / Business continuity

Technical knowledge of LAN/WAN

Client or Dell commercial level server experience

Understanding IIS and DNS
