Java Developer

Qualifications:

Minimum 3+ years of Java/J2EE Enterprise Web Development.

Ability to develop in all tiers (middleware, integration and database) of the application.

Ability to work in agile environment.

Deep hands-on experience with Spring framework and Object Oriented methodology of design and development.

Hands on experience with Spring Batch framework.

Working experience with JDBC/MyBatis including transaction management, caching and performance tuning.

Web Services SOA experience (SOAP as well as Restful with JSON formats).

Experience working with Messaging (IBM MQ, JMS).

Experience in writing Stored Procedures, functions, SQL queries and backend programming using DB2.

Experience on NoSQL database such as Cassandra.

Experience contributing and using core framework components.

Experience with performance tuning of the application.

Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit and mocking techniques.

Experience with Autosys, Ctrl-M or other job schedulers is a plus.

Experience in agile development practices.

Enthusiasm for continuous improvement.

Solid analytical and problem solving skills.

Ability to plan, prioritize and follow through on their work and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal & written communication.

Ability to clearly articulate both technical and non-technical issues with stake holders & partners like Dev Ops, Architects, QA testers & Product Owners.

Should be a self-starter and willing to take ownership of the assigned tasks.
