Job Description

A healthcare leader is looking to hire a senior software engineer in their Reston Headquarters.

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the following:

Designing and developing the application

Effectively translates and communicates business requirements to technical requirements and vice versa.

Coordinates remote, offshore, and on-site development resources.

Monitors and communicates the progress of project delivery.

Expected skills

4+ years of related technical development experience required.

Familiar with C#, Angular, WebAPI, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, OAuth2 and OpenIdConnect

Must have prior experience with C# and Angular Unit testing

Experience with Docker and container technology

Hands on with both SQL and Non-SQL ( MongoDB) databases

Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence are necessary.

Must be familiar with cross platform development environments like Linux and Windows.

Experience with Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.

Strong communication skills with the ability to unite teams.

Excellent analytical and multitasking skills critical.

Must be familiar with continuous integration tools like Jenkins/TeamCity etc

Preferred Skills

HL7 and DICOM standards

Healthcare experience is a plus

Prior experience with cloud computing and micro service architecture is an advantage.

Hands on experience with different source code control tools like Github and SVN
