Job Description

IT Project Manager is responsible leading the project management life-cycle; designing, and driving project plans; maintaining project schedules; managing tasks, issues and risks; facilitating meetings; communicating updates; and managing project budgets.

Responsibilities:

Establishes and implements project management lifecycle processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations.

Effectively translates and communicates business requirements to technical requirements and vice versa.

Tracks key project milestones and adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet internal and external customer needs.

Monitors and communicates the progress of project delivery and ensures timely and effective communication of project status in terms of cost, forecast, schedule and assessment of risks/issues.

Manages remote, offshore, and on-site development resources, as well as vendor relationships.

Uses Agile techniques to bring efficiency to Project Management and Documentation needs.

Requirements/Desired:

5+ years of related project management experience required. Product Management/startup experience is a plus.

Experience with Atlassian tools like JIRA and Confluence are necessary.

Masters in Computer Science is preferred.

PMP certification is preferred but not necessary.

Healthcare experience is a plus.

Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Spiral software development methodologies.

Strong communication skills with the ability to unite teams.

Excellent analytical and multitasking skills critical.
