Accounts Payable Analyst Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions. Posts revenues to customer accounts from various transactions as it relates to lockbox and local deposits, ACH and wires payments. Responsible for the timely and accurate application of cash to accounts receivable on multiple systems Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions Engage management over any AR problems you may encounter Maintain accounting ledgers as required Audit ledgers to ensure they contain correct information, such as billing addresses and invoice number. Qualifications College degree is preferred but not required. 2+ years’ experience with experience coming out of Accounts Payable. Experience with customer service and client communication Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to create and edit Excel spreadsheets; pivot tables Familiarity with accounting software program.
