Network Engineer Opening!
Contract to Hire
Bloomington, MN
Position Summary:
Design and administer networking and security systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
Design and administer the broadband VPN network for retail locations
Participate in system patching and security alert remediation.
Position Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience within the Networking space
Experience supporting local and wide area networking. (LAN/WAN)
Hands on experience with Cisco technologies (routers and switches).
Strong experience writing access control lists (ACLs) and rules.
Hands on experience with Cisco operating systems, IOS, IOS-XE, ASA, and NX-OS.
Experience with routing protocol OSPF.
Experience with network technologies, including VPNs and Firewalls.
Experience with remote access technologies.
Experience with network and security risk assessments.
Familiarity with IDS/IPS a strong plus.
Familiarity with Imperva a strong plus.
Experience supporting a retail environment is a plus.
Familiarity with the PCI DSS and other security compliance frameworks a plus.
Linux/Unix knowledge a plus.
