Our direct and long-term client in downtown NYC is looking to add a Business Analyst with recent / relevant experience in:
Process Mapping and process re-engineering
Ideally using IBM Blueworks
Commercial Property & Casualty industry
Billing systems exposure
Job Description: This is a project to aggregate/integrate policy and claims data from several dozen Managing General Agents and Third-Party Administrators.
Current state, future state and business requirements are already documented.
A third-party vendor has been identified to host the solution.
The candidate will assist with the execution phase of the project to onboard the MGAs/TPAs to the target data platform.
Responsibilities: Manage essential process documentation and project implementation of functional and technical solutions by collaborating with business partners to gather business requirements, provide expertise and guidance and help execute plans to enhance business capability, achieve results and support organizational growth.
What is driving this need? A specific project to integrate program data.

Strong Business Analysis experience (5+ years)
Process Mapping activities may be required
Proven ability to elicit requirements from senior level stakeholders both internal and external
Strong influencing and leadership skills
Ability to work independently for results
Strong command of written and spoken English
Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel)
Advanced Excel skills
Process mapping and process re-engineering capabilities
Ideally using IBM Blueworks
Experience with Commercial P&C Insurance is required for this position
Understanding of billing system functionality is a strong plus
Experience working with partners having delegated authorities is a strong plus (e.g. MGAs/TPAs)
Experience working with data and data modeling is a plus
