Job Description

Our client, a leader in the home building industry, is looking to hire a Business Analyst in their Reston Headquarters.

As a Business Analyst, you will contribute your design, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help our client better understand customers' experience and then prioritize work, adjust business processes, and build systems – ultimately achieving the anticipated ROI and improving our customers' experiences.

A successful Business Analyst will do the following:

Use human-centered design to guide the end-to-end ownership and management of experiences and processes to customers and/or employees.

Utilize an advanced understanding of customer needs, as well as our business vision and strategy, to prioritize investment, business value and delivery.

Align focus of stakeholders towards a unified experience that serves customers, employees and business needs.

Work with a cross-functional/cross-department team to understand and validate business strategy and vision, and customer needs.

Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders, and technology team members to define and document relevant business processes, gaining a proficient understanding of all needs, measures, and risks & controls for the improvement area.

Lead and manage small projects.

Serve as direct representative of the business with technology teams, reinforcing the customers'
perspective throughout the product realization cycle.

Collaborate with a cross-functional team of user experience partners, designers, business analysts,
developers, testers and others to develop, execute and release in alignment with program and/or product roadmaps.

Establish and monitor KPIs for each initiative.

Communicate with internal customers and be able to present information in a non-technical manner.

Prepare the business for the new process/product changes and arm them with tactics and metrics for benefits, adoption, and risk.

Troubleshoot and support ad hoc requests received from colleagues.

Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure; navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities.

2+ years data analysis.

4+ years working as a Business Analyst.

History of success working both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team on multiple concurrent projects.

A bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience working with a digital marketing team.

Formal Customer Experience and/or User Experience training or related work experience

3+ years Agile experience.

Extensive experience with Office 365 and Teams.

Experience working with other collaboration tools like Trello or Jira.
