Financial Analyst

North Dallas, TX

International company in North Dallas area is searching for a Financial Analyst to add to their team—responsible for modelling, forecasting and budgeting for multiple business units.

Responsibilities

Prepare financial reports, analysis, budgeting and presentations in support of multiple business units

Create monthly reporting and forecasting analyses; ensure accuracy, communicate trends and make recommendations

Work closely with multiple locations to communicate trends, educate issues and implement improvement measures

Maneuver large sets of data to accurately analyze current trends and income forecasts

Work alongside business management, accounting and finance to understand monthly financial results and analysis

Collaborate with business unit leaders to implement positive changes within groups, facilitating growth

Monitor and analyze expenditures, KPIs, profitability and operations

Define KPIs, work alongside business management, accounting and finance to develop sales, expense and income forecasts/budgets

Develop models and other ad-hoc analysis to support decisions on capital deployment, cost management and business growth

Requirements

4-7 years of financial analysis experience, multi-location experience a plus

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, MBA a plus

Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills

Advanced ERP, reporting and Excel skills

Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Oracle or other financial reporting system

Effective communication and presentation skills

High level of analytical skills, strong initiative
