Job Description

UI/UX DESIGN LEAD

Seeking an experienced UI/UX Design Lead to become part of an established global healthcare organization as a front-end software developer responsible for the detailed design, implementation, and testing of subsystems and system components.

The ideal UI/UX Design Lead needs to be competent in all of facets of the design process, and exceptionally talented and skilled in Interaction and Information Architecture Design - connecting the dots between business needs, innovation and good design.

This position leads the front-end aspects of assigned projects and initiatives in the Software Development and/or Solutions Architecture space to efficiently and effectively architect deliver, maintain, & enhance solutions per requirements for assigned business line areas.

The ideal UI/UX Designer should be passionate about doing great work, has a goal of UIs that are cleaner and clearer than in the past, removing clutter and noise, a desire for every product to be both aesthetic and provide intuitive functionality, focused on delivering the ideal user experience, can think on your feet in an ever-changing digital landscape, can act as a leader who can keep other designers impassioned and doing their best work and wants to create beautiful, intuitive products, apps and web sites.

Responsibilities

Work within a corporate UI/UX Guideline; maintain UI/UX guidelines as project evolves

Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, Adobe XD, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite.

Producing high quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.

Experienced in working with agile teams; must understand how to work as a member of a Scrum Team

Test for intuitive customer and user experience

Develop technical and business requirements (assist the Scrum team with Story development from a UI/UX perspective) and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions

Requirements

8+ years of experience as an UI-UX Designer or similar role

Manage and mentor other designers on team

Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior

Ensure UI/UX standards are being implemented across a portfolio of like products.

Demonstrable portfolio of UI/UX Design work
