Senior Tax Analyst

North Dallas, TX

Growing international company in North Dallas is seeking to add a Senior Tax Analyst to their team and is looking for a tax expert with a strong income tax background.

Responsibilities

Corporate income tax filings/returns

Analyze financial data, reconcile information to financial statements

Pull data from various systems, summarize tax position and workpapers for tax returns

Prepare federal and state income tax corporate returns, including combined/consolidated filings, partnership returns

Prepare forms related to US reporting of international operations

Quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments and extensions

Proven ability to identify and resolve tax issues

Focus on technology in order to improve processes and streamline procedures

Demonstrate expertise in federal and state income tax compliance and apply to development of action plans

Assist in research for tax audit and planning

Research and consult on complex tax returns, demonstrating understanding of tax return processes and financial statements

Ability to plan, perform and deliver work independently

Assist in development and delivery of project budgets, timelines

Requirements

3+ years of public tax accounting experience

Bachelor's degree – Accounting, related field

Master's degree (preferred)

CPA Candidate, CPA preferred

Demonstrate strong working knowledge of federal tax laws in various industries

Thorough understanding of accounting issues and financial statement preparation

Excellent written and verbal communication

Proven ability to lead and develop team
